As things start to settle around here, and the rest of the account structure is finalized, one may have questions for the question-asker: "How are you making yourself stand out from the other prompt accounts?"; "How frequently will you be posting?"; and, "Will you repost other accounts?"

Well, let me answer them!

"How are you making yourself stand out from the other prompt accounts?"

World-Building Prompts is here to fill a very specific niche: the world-building community on #OCsky. You can have an OC without building a world around them, and that's completely fine— but the opposite is also true!

This account's prompts may appeal to unique worlds, but you can still participate in them if you only have OCs. I, the Oracle, acknowledge alternate universes as "worlds" for the context of world-building, so if you didn't create your world's planet or history, for instance, that's completely fine!

"How frequently will you be posting?"

Starting the 1st of February, in 2026, I will be posting five questions per week: a free-form question which introduces the theme, and four, more specific, question blocks that revolve around that theme. They will be daily, with no questions on Mondays and Saturdays.

The question days (from Tuesday through Friday) don't have a singular question each, though: each "question" is actually a set of questions, to better explain the prompt for that day. You can answer all of them or just the first: the questions after the first are there to help you answer the prompt.

"Will you repost other accounts?"

There might be "feature days" where I highlight certain accounts (or their posts), but as of now there are no plans to post anything but question prompts. I may repost world-building questions from other accounts, but I won't make any promises at the moment. Sorry!

That's all of the self-directed questions that I have! If you have any questions or comments about this account, feel free to state them here. I'll keep replies on until the launch in February, and then on each Monday and Saturday that I remember to do so once it's "live", so to speak.

P.S.: If you notice another account drifting around AtProto with a similar username and account theming, that's likely the one that got falsely flagged (for what I suspect is spam). I tried posting this thread twice on Bluesky appview, and got suspended both times for doing so.
